I decided this was something I wanted to pursue during the pandemic; when like most of the world, I was in lock down. I decided to go back to school and learn graphic design and web design to create what you see here (Hi!).
All the designs in the Just Ordinarily Odd Shop are not only designed by me, but are made by me in my house. I am what is classified as a micro business, (still too small to be classified as a small business) and I am one person working behind the scenes. I design all the artwork, I print all the designs and cut them (either with my handy Cricut or a guillotine); I take all the product photos, shoot and edit all the footage on my socials, update this website as well as packaging and distribution! As such; things are not always perfect. There may be small inconsistencies in colour or cutting; though nothing detrimental to the function of the product.
I am doing my best to ensure quality products, but I am still learning. Just know that with every follow, like, comment, share or purchase; that your supporting a micro Aussie business just trying to achieve their dreams. I hope you’ll enjoy not only what you purchase from my little shop, but I hope you’ll enjoy seeing it grow and improve!
We use the Aravax brand but there are 3 different kinds of sticker we use currently.
We use 215+ GSM for all postcards to ensure durability while in the post. For comparison, regular printer paper is typically 80GSM – so our paper used for postcards is 2.5x thicker. Currently we are testing 2 kinds of paper:

As this is a micro business all handled in house, there is a 14-day return policy; which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return if it’s damaged or incorrect. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging.
To start a return, you can contact us at joodghost@justordinarilyodd.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and fix it for you ASAP!
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned like custom products (such as special orders or personalised stickers). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items.
Exchanges
If there has been a mix up with your order and you are unhappy, the fastest way to ensure you get what your heart desires is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
While we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind – if there is a problem with any of your items please let us know so we can help find a solution. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank to process and post the refund too.
